Tail Eater Privacy Policy
Effective October 5, 2026
Tail Eater (“the game”) is a puzzle game for Android published by AvatarifyAI (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the game collects, why, who receives it and what you can do about it. Questions and requests: artem@avatarify.ai.
In short
- The game has no accounts. We never ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos or payment details, and we don’t collect your precise location.
- Your game progress stays on your device.
- To see how the game is played, fix crashes and measure our advertising, the game sends usage data, device information and device identifiers to the services listed below.
- We don’t run servers of our own: this data goes straight to those services.
- We don’t sell your data for money.
What the game collects and why
How you play
The levels you start, win, restart and leave, your moves, mistakes and hearts, the hints you use, time spent, when the game is installed, opened and closed, and, if the game shows you ads, which ads were shown and what they earned. We use it to understand how the game is played and to improve it, and to measure which of our ad campaigns bring players.
Device and app information
Device model, operating system and its version, language, mobile carrier and the version of the game. We use it for the same analytics and to find and fix problems on particular devices.
Identifiers
- Random identifiers that the services below create for your installation of the game, such as the Amplitude device ID and the Firebase installation ID, and on iPhone the identifier for vendor (IDFV). They let us count players and tell one player’s sessions apart from another’s.
- Your device’s advertising ID: on Android, the Google advertising ID; on iPhone, the advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow the game to track you when it asks. It is used to find out which ad campaign brought a player, to prevent fraud and, if the game shows you ads, for advertising.
Approximate location
Your city and country, which the services determine from your IP address. We don’t collect GPS or any other precise location.
Crash reports
If the game crashes, Firebase Crashlytics receives a report with the state of the game and the device at that moment. We use it to fix bugs.
Game settings
The game downloads its settings, such as how often ads may be shown, from Firebase Remote Config, using its Firebase installation ID.
Advertising
Some versions of the game show ads: a full-screen ad between levels and, if you choose to watch it, a short video that gives you an extra heart, a hint or double coins. The ads are served through AppLovin MAX, which picks an ad from several ad networks: AppLovin, Google AdMob, Unity Ads, Mintegral, Liftoff and Moloco. These companies receive your device’s advertising ID, device information, IP address and your interactions with the ads in order to show ads, count views and clicks, prevent fraud and, where you allow it, show ads based on your interests.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the game asks for your consent with Google’s consent form before ads are personalized.
- On iPhone the game asks for your permission to track you (App Tracking Transparency). If you don’t allow it, your advertising identifier isn’t shared.
Who receives the data
| Service | What for | Their privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Amplitude (Amplitude, Inc.) | Game analytics | amplitude.com/privacy |
| Tenjin (Tenjin, Inc.) | Finding out which ad campaign brought a player, fraud prevention | tenjin.com |
| AppsFlyer (AppsFlyer Ltd.) | Finding out which ad campaign brought a player, fraud prevention | appsflyer.com |
| Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Remote Config; Google Ads (Google LLC) | Measuring our Google ad campaigns, crash reports, game settings | Firebase, how Google uses data from apps |
| AppLovin MAX and ad networks: AppLovin, Google AdMob, Unity Ads, Mintegral, Liftoff, Moloco | Showing and measuring ads | AppLovin, Google, Unity, Mintegral, Liftoff, Moloco |
Tenjin, AppsFlyer and Google tell the ad networks we buy ads from whether a player came from their ad and how far they got in the game, so that the networks can improve our campaigns.
These companies process data under their own privacy policies and their agreements with us. Some of them are based outside your country, including in the United States; they protect such transfers with the safeguards the law requires, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Legal bases
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data on these grounds:
- our legitimate interests: analytics to improve the game, crash reports, game settings, measuring our advertising and preventing fraud;
- your consent: ads based on your interests and, where the law requires it, advertising measurement. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
How long we keep data
Crash reports are kept for 90 days. Analytics and advertising data are kept only as long as we need them to understand and improve the game and our advertising; after that they are deleted or kept only as totals that no longer relate to any device. Your game progress stays on your device until you delete the game.
Your choices and rights
- Advertising ID. On Android you can reset or delete it in the device settings (how). On iPhone you can allow or stop tracking in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking (how).
- Your data. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or withdraw your consent: write to artem@avatarify.ai. Because the game has no accounts, we may ask you for details that help us find your device’s data, such as your advertising ID. We reply within 30 days.
- Complaints. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom you can also complain to your data protection authority.
- US residents. Depending on your state, you have the same rights to know, correct and delete your data, and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising: turn off tracking as described above or write to us. We won’t treat you differently for using your rights.
Children
Tail Eater is made for adults and teenagers and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has played the game, write to us and we will delete the data.
Security
The game sends data only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). The services above store it on their protected systems, where only authorized people can access it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
